DX51D Z150 Galvanized Sheet Description
Galvanized sheet is a form of steel that undergoes a protective coating process using zinc through electroplating. This galvanized layer is applied to cold rolled steel at low temperatures. The representation of zinc is typically denoted by “Z,” which stands for the English term “Zinc.” For instance, Z80 indicates a surface zinc plating content of 80 grams per square meter. Similarly, Z150 signifies a galvanizing content of 150 grams per square meter, and so forth. The number following “Z” indicates the average coating content at three points on both sides of the galvanized steel, measured in grams per square meter. Commonly available hot-dip galvanizing materials in the market include Z80, Z100, Z120, Z140, Z180, Z275, and others.
